Local paper takes sides in supervisor races

Managing Editor picks winners in Cochise County supervisor races in an op-ed - Sunday 9/15/24
So the managing editor of the Herald/Review stated in a column who CANNOT win various Cochise County supervisor races. Some of the factual points made in this "commentary" were dubious at best, but this hides the real problem.

The management of the news operation has now gone on record as to the outcome of at least two of the three supervisor races. Very unusual journalistic practice for any serious objective newspaper.

How do you expect the readership of the Herald/Review to believe reporting on these races is anything other than biased?

BTW if the paper was saying that Democrats Walsh or Banks was a done deal to win, Republicans would be marching on the Herald's "just a building" with pitchforks and torches.

One more point. Hickman gives a rationale for voting for Crosby anyways that maybe he will be convicted and Briseno could be appointed.
