A four point plan for education
Invest more in K - 12 public schools using targeted performance based criteria. Raise the per pupil amount spent on schools from $12,522 to at least the national median of approximately $15,600. Currently our overall ranking is 49th out of 50 states.
Restructure the ESA School Voucher program to limit participants back to the program's orginal intention. Helping special needs students who cannot get services they need in their public schools.
Inovate curriculum to create better outcomes for all Arizona students. This means rethinking how learning and goals are designed for students who do not plan to attend college after high school graduation.
Make it less expensive to get post-secondary education including non-academic training. One way to do this is to provide 2 years free community college to every student who graduates from a public high school in Arizona.
